PriceMate
Pricing Made Easy!
PriceMate is a program designed to allow small manufacturing retailers (Butchers, Bakers, Restaurants, etc.) to calculate cost and retail prices and generate ingredient lists and nutrition information from the ingredients which make up each product.
There are new food labelling regulations coming into force in December 2014. If your business only sells direct to the public then the only change will be the requirement for all of your products to have information about Allergens (Wheat, Nuts etc) available. But if you sell any of your products to another business then these products must have a complete declaration of allergens and ingredients (and from 2016 Nutrition values as well). Our software will allow you to comply with these regulations.
This program can:-
- Print all ingredients and allergens on counter display tickets or labels for in-counter or packed products which will conform to forthcoming legislation.
- Have your own logo put on all tickets & labels (logos can be designed at extra cost)
- Counter display tickets can be printed in full colour on plastic paper saving time and cost of laminating, easy to keep clean and cheap to replace.
- Print nutrition information and cooking instructions if required
- If meat or other ingredients increase in price once you have entered the new price in the program, the program will automatically change the retail price to keep your margins correct on all your products including meat cuts (chops/steaks etc.), sausage/burger, pies and ready meals and will also print new tickets for your counter display or sticky labels for packed products at the touch of a button.
- Costing new products is made easy as the program holds all the cost information and will give you a true cost price including trays/foils/packaging. You can also enter labour cost into the system to get a true cost of product!
- New products are easy to enter into the system.
- Different profit groups for different departments.
- Any vat-able products can have vat rates added automatically (including updating prices after any change in VAT).
- Printing new product tickets is made easy as program holds all relevant info.
- Ordering and delivery; you can make ingredient and sundry orders with the program so no mistakes are made by ordering the wrong product by staff, it will also show up any mistakes made by suppliers and any price increases. The program will also highlight the cheapest supplier of that product.
- Orders can be placed using a tablet and orders can be checked using hand held scanner, so no mistakes are made.
- Staff will also be able to use tablet for product information, ingredients and cooking instructions.
